Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay's birthplace was Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Born into the Mormon Church's very first family, Fawn McKay directed her ingenious creative writing skills and impressive abilities in research to create an outstanding psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. The book was titled"No Man Knows My History. The title was an inspiration for a funeral sermon that was delivered by the Church of Latter-Day Saints founder Joseph Smith. In that sermon he declared: "You do not know who I am and have never seen my heart." Nobody knows my past. It's impossible to tell. I wrote the 29-year-old Fawn: Since that moment of candor about three dozen writers have taken up the challenge. Some have attempted to establish a medical diagnosis. Documents do not lack, but they are contradictory. The process of assembling these documents, by sifting through third-party and first-hand sources, and integrating Mormons' narratives to other people's history - is challenging. It is fascinating and informative. This is the kind of task to which Fawn Brodie devoted herself professionally. Thaddeus Steves became a global fame due to her work in research as well as her writing. "The Devil's Drive" (1959) The Slaughter of the South. Thomas Jefferson. The intimate Histories (1974), and Richard Nixon.
