Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1996, in Miami Florida. She is half English as well as Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. She is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother is of Spanish and English ancestry. Taylor-Joy was born into a household that included six children. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. They resided within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy, the relocation was difficult and she was unable to study English to the hope of moving back to Argentina. Her school had to change between Northlands to Hill House. Then she went to Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. In her 16th year she left the school and pursued a career as an actress full time. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to work as an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to become a model.
