Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician and songwriter. Harry Styles has been acknowledged as the composer in The One Direction band. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, in which he started his own group of musicians with three classmates, which was dubbed White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, the band also took part in the 2010 Battle of Bands. He always had an interest in the arts, however he also wished to work as a lawyer, physiotherapist or even scout. A part-time job in a city bakery in his early occupation to earn money for the family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the 2010 auditions to The X Factor. The group had to separate. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of the group that was to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were founded in the year 2010. They performed tracks like My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the potential winners to win the award. But they came in third, behind Rebecca Ferguson.
