Meagan Good, born on August 8th, 1981 was raised in Panorama City in Los Angeles with her parents Leondis Leon Good and Tyrawardlow-Doyle. Tyra worked for her as a manager in her teen years. Her family consisted of three siblings in Canyon Country in California and began acting at the age of four. She worked as an additional to TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. as she began her professional career. At the age of 13, her first role in a movie Friday occurred. The role she played as Cisely, the troubled teen from Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her interest. She was awarded two awards including her very first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good was able to play small TV and film roles over in the following years before transitioning to more mature roles during the early 2000s. On Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter show, she portrayed Nina. The actress was on Nickelodeon's T.V. program Cousin Skeeter between 1998 and 2001. Also, she landed minor parts on the show from 1998 to 2001. She also landed minor roles in the film House Party: Down to the final minute, as well as 3 Strikes. In 2003 she played Vanessa Scott, a character in My Wife and Kids. She appeared on D.E.B.S (2004) the comedy action film. This movie earned her nomination for Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards in 2005. In the following years, she was in films like You Got Served The Cookout and Venom One Missed call Waist Deep, as well as The Love Guru. When she was active in 2012 she also appeared seen on T.V.
