Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her roles on House, a Fox medical series, House. Born in Wayne within a conservative Jewish traditions, she moved in New York City at the age of 18 and began studying theater at Tisch school of arts. She soon became part of the New York club scene and began making headlines. The press also took notice of her. Then, she used her experience and fame, and her own experience to create and perform a show called Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed an interview with MTV and was the host of Awake on the Wild Side. After the show ended, she started appearing in television and film productions, beginning with small roles, and slowly established her place as an actor.
